Where are the drafts coming from?

In your home drafts could be coming from anywhere causing you discomfort. Even if your home is well insulated, if drafts are not fixed, you will feel cold. We can identify a lot of these with a “Blower Door Test.” This test depressurizes your home causing your leaks to be more apparent. A large fan is placed in your front door and set at 50 pascals which depressurizes your home. We then go around the house and either feel the cold/warm air come into your home or use a smoke stick to follow the draft trails. You do not have to leave your home and the test takes only 30 minutes. This test can also be performed to make sure your house isn’t “too tight” and can breathe properly.
